The Myvesta Foundation is a global social enterprise dedicated to helping people improve their financial lives. I was solely responsible for all creative aspects of the business including websites, graphic design and multimedia as well as implementing public relations campaigns and promoting the organisation.

  • Designed and maintained a large variety of organisation websites using hand-coded HTML, PHP, javascript and graphic design software. Websites receive thousands of visitors on a daily basis and employ modern search engine optimised layouts and content.
  • Launched websites using content management systems and scripts such as Drupal, Wordpress, PHPBB, vBulletin, ArticleLive and Active KB. All systems have been modified and themed to suit the needs of the organisation and visitors to the sites.
  • Singularly wrote and distributed news releases, video news releases and audio packages to newspapers, radio stations, television stations and other media outlets. Printed releases appeared in many major publications and multimedia releases ran on major television and radio stations.
  • Was the primary contact for reporters and conducted authoritative interviews with media outlets in the US and UK. Media organisations include CNN, The New York Times, CBS Marketwatch, Kiplinger's Personal Finance, The Washington Post, BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and National Public Radio.
  • Wrote copy for Web, broadcast, print, email, publications and other projects as necessary.
  • Gained media placement in hundreds of weekly newspapers, radio stations, websites and television stations.
  • Designed and created printed materials using advanced desktop publishing tools. Publications included educational publications, brochures and client applications.
  • Produced, wrote and edited audio and video pieces including Public Service Announcements, news packages, audio books, self-help audio tapes and promotional videos.
  • Co-hosted, produced, and edited a weekly question and answer radio show on consumer debt. Expertly answered consumer debt questions and provided listeners with advice.

  • Trained as a national authority in the field of consumer debt and debt management. Possesses advanced level of knowledge in the design and implementation of consumer debt solutions.

WMDT-TV is a local television station in Salisbury, Maryland and an affiliate of the ABC national network in the United States. I wrote, directed and produced television commercials for local businesses and produced weekly half-hour programmes for the television station and local community.

  • Wrote, directed, produced, and shot television commercials for local businesses, charities and not-for-profit organisations.
  • Launched successful advertising campaigns and researched local business markets to improve the effectiveness of local television advertising.
  • Coordinated all aspects of on-location field shoots including organisation of field crew, setting up of lighting and other equipment, managing on-screen talent and ensuring client satisfaction.
